As specialist pepper growers, we’re passionate about what we do and take pride in our produce. If anyone knows about peppers, its’ our team who work hard to produce the perfect quality crop.

With this in mind, we’ve asked our staff here at Tangmere to share with you some of their favourite pepper creations – the dishes they enjoy to cook at home for friends and family.

Inspired by the health benefits of eating more vegetables, Packhouse Manager, Ben, shares his favourite recipe for veggie wraps:

Try your hand at making Ben’s Smoked Paprika Wraps with Sweet Potato

At this time of year, when the weather is chilly, we tend to crave comforting food. These tasty wraps make veg the star of the show. With warming spices and chilli heat (according to taste), they are satisfying and full of goodness to help boost health and immunity.

Ben says, “My recipe came from a love of experimenting with different ingredients. They are a healthy twist on a meat wrap I make with Spanish Chorizo. I wanted to create something that packed the same flavour, so came up with this veggie option.

The warm, smoky spices, work well with the natural sweetness of the carrots, peppers and potatoes. This dish is great for sharing at a get together; everyone loves building these wraps.”
