Predators Under 18's now have new team kits thanks to Tangmere Airfield Nurseries.

Tangmere Airfield Nurseries sponsorship of Predators Youth Football Club in Bognor Regis began in 2011 sponsoring the under-12's team. Over the past five years, the business has continued its backing and has now signed sponsorship of the under-18's for the next two seasons 2016-18.

Predators is a Charter Standard Community Football Club, recognised by the FA for the difference it makes to grassroots football in the local area. The Club has over 250 players from age six through to adult and includes girls’ and ladies’ teams.

Jason Remnant, Quality Control Manager for Tangmere, said: “My son, George, started with Predators Youth when he was eight - now he’s 17 and captain’s the under-18's. Participating regularly in sport promotes health and well-being as well as providing a focus, self-esteem and determination to succeed. It’s a great environment.

The Predators home ground at the University of Chichester’s Bognor Campus has first-rate facilities; a newly refurbished clubhouse and  excellent pitches to play on. The volunteer committee and the uni have worked hard to keep the club moving forward. Hopefully, more players will continue playing up through the youth ranks to the senior teams.”

Simon Yeates, Predators Manager said: “On behalf of all Predators FC members I’d like to thank Tangmere Airfield Nurseries for sponsoring the under-18's football team, providing the kit the young players need to do their club proud. Our aim this season is to get promoted again if possible. The team is going from strength to strength - currently we’re in 3rd place in the league which is really good at this stage.”

Dick Houweling, Director for Tangmere said: “I’m really happy we’re able to support the club as they are a great asset to our local community and all run by volunteers. The kit looks superb and I’d like to wish the team the best of luck in their upcoming games.”
