Growing for Goodness

First and foremost, we are a family of growers. Some of our employees were actually born into the business of horticulture and are second and third generation growers of fruit and vegetable crops.

Peppers are an exciting product to grow –with many possibilities of growing different varieties and shapes. Our growing process starts with a flower pollinated by a bumble-bee.

When a little pepper about 1cm in size forms it takes 35 – 40 days to get to the mature green colour with a further three weeks to transform into the other colours. Harvesting is carried out by hand, and our expert teams understand the fruit’s maturity to make the perfect pick.

Our UK growing season starts with sowing the seeds in November and planting the crops in December and January. Year-round supply is achieved with the overlap between the British and Spanish growing seasons.
